FISHTIVAL FAVORITE! SMOKED SALMON PIZZA

Nova Salmon Pizza

Wild for Salmon featured two sockeye salmon recipes at Fishtival 2019, and this was the undeniable winner! Boldly flavored Nova smoked salmon paired with juicy chunks of heirloom tomato and thinly sliced red onion made for a delicious bite!

If you have the time, use your best homemade pizza dough recipe. If not, we won't tell if you use store bought for a quick and easy solution.

 

 

SMOKED SALMON PIZZA

INGREDIENTS:

1⁄4 lb Nova salmon ( diced)
1 c. Ricotta cheese
1⁄2 lg Red onion (thinly sliced)
3 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese
3 oz shredded Asiago cheese
1 t dried oregano
1 lg heirloom tomato, diced
Olive oil
Pizza dough

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
    Thaw pizza dough (if using frozen) and roll out to fit pizza screen. Lightly coat in olive oil. Poke crust several times with fork to prevent any large bubbles from forming.
    Evenly spread ricotta cheese over crust
    Sprinkle mozzerella and Asiago cheese over crust 
    Add diced Nova, tomatoes, and red onion over pizza
    Place in oven and bake for 12-15 min until cheese is melted and pizza crust is golden brown underneath.

    Serve and enjoy!
