Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

We are a fisherman and family-owned business with a retail store and cafe in Bloomsburg PA.If you enjoy seafood, interacting with customers, and selling a great product, We would love to hear from you.Job DescriptionThe Sales Associate is primarily responsible for communication with customers and completing sales for customers in both the Retail Store and Cafe.Essential Duties:

• Communicating with customers in our store
• Completing sales via our POS system
• Pricing and stocking inventory
• Handling cash/ daily cash drawer reconciliation
• Cafe daily duties/Setup/Taking Orders/Restocking/Daily Cleaning
• Display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances
• General cleaning of glass and floors
• Organize sales and product demonstrations
• Assist the Retail & Cafe Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers

Education and Experience: A minimum of a High School Diploma. Sales experience preferred.Other Skills and Abilities: A love of seafood and passion for cooking are a benefit but not required. Adaptability and a "Can-Do" attitude are a must. During extra busy times we may ask that you help us in the kitchen or the office. Physical Demands: Job requires a person to communicate effectively, lift objects up to 50 pounds, reach with arms, stoop, kneel and work on their feet much of the time. The position also requires working in a commercial freezer for approximately 5 minutes at a time various times per day. Schedule: Part-Time and Full-Time hiring available. Saturdays required.
