We’ve added Sockeye Salmon Steaks to our seafood cuts! Salmon steaks are cut thick with the skin on, bone-in and perfect for outdoor grilling. Each of our Alaskan sockeye salmon steaks average 6-8oz and are shipped frozen, individually wrapped and vacuumed packaged.

How to cook Sockeye Salmon Steaks
Don’t be discouraged by the bone, this will actually give the salmon steak more structure allowing it to grill more easily. Once cooked you can insert your fork near the center bone and slide outwards to easily remove the meat from the bones. We recommend grilling, broiling, or cooking on a cedar plank for best results!
Our fishing fleet in Bristol Bay harvests our Sockeye Salmon, the most well-known of the salmon species. Each fish is slid onto the boat to reduce bruising, immediately submerged in refrigerated sea water, then flash-frozen to maintain top quality.
